
Stan Dailey is the lead singer and bass player for Cornbread. His sweet tenor voice has enchanted fans all over the South for many years. Stan started his musical career with his parent’s gospel group called, strangely enough, The Daileys. Stan started playing professionally at the tender age of 8. By the time Stan was 18 years of age he had already recorded 3 albums with his family band. In 1982 Stan performed at the World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee with his high school string band. Stan has gone on to country and rock music with a band called Wild Horses opening for such acts as Alan Jackson and Travis Tritt. Stan joined the New Hinson’s as vocalist and bass player in 1996 and joined the Rabbit Easter Band in 1998, earning a Dove nomination on their first project. Stan lives in Sylacauga, Alabama.
Mark Whitehead is a virtuoso on mandolin, acoustic guitar and banjo. He can play anything with strings. Mark began playing music at the age of 6 with his family group that traveled around the South and Midwest. Mark played mandolin and acoustic guitar with his family band for 7 years doing bluegrass gospel music. In 1990 Mark toured the U.S. and Canada with a country group opening for such acts as John Anderson and Johnny Paycheck. Mark lives in Sylacauga, Alabama. Mark plays mandolin banjo and acoustic guitar for Cornbread Red.
Mark Scott grew up on Sand Mountain, Alabama. Mark started playing banjo at the age of 12. Mark was playing every weekend by the age of 16 and continued to play the bluegrass circuit through the late 80's with various bluegrass bands. Mark plays banjo, mandolin and guitar and has palyed bluegrass, rock and R & B for the last several years. Mark is the newest member of Cornbread Red and plays banjo with the group. Mark lives in Glencoe, Alabama.
